Reliability and quality of the Hemingway products are five star. They are built to last and are a lot of fun easy to assemble. They are a comfortable ride. They’re worth the money. I’ve had a step through fat tire cruiser for three years and decided to get the big dog because I’m in my 60s and I’m a shorter person And I feel more comfortable with this new big dog as I am aging but they are great quality products. I’ve never had any issues with the fat tire cruiser. I had for three years over 2500 miles on that one and hoping to get more miles from the the big dog .
I have had a step through cruiser bike for a few years. My only issue was it was a little too tall for me. I ordered this bike and it’s perfect. Highly recommend for shorter ladies. I’m 5ft 3 inches tall. My husband was also so impressed that he ordered one for him too.
I had a problem from the beginning that bike was suppose to come with a basket. They finally sent me the basket without installation instructions. I installed it where it is designed to go but the basket immediately broke my light. I contacted the company and was told they would send me a light. They never did.
Ridden over 2000 miles with no problems. Great uphill. Long battery endurance and charges quick. Great suspension. Great replacement for daily commuting to work with car. I'm 365lbs with about 30lbs in gear and average 35 miles per charge going 17mph. Great range to be honest for that amount of weight. High quality battery so no need to worry about fires or anything. I was concerned about an expensive bike purchase and being online. I am a Amazon regular so I thought I would try this instead of waiting a week or two for delivery. Well it couldn't have worked out better. Two days the truck was here, delivery was right on. Price point was the same as buying it from a dealer, so I did good with the price.
