We love our bikes. We take them with us on RV trips and use them for local travel. Unfortunately, one of the chargers died at 13 months. Working with Himiway on replacement.
This bike is well made,a bit heavy, next generation should be lighter so same amount of power will go further, needs an option to remove the standard seat an mount a standard seat post in its place, unless you're 5'6 the stock seat is way to low and lousy for long trips and put on an electric horn! Overall a really good bike that is open to customization , enjoy, I'd buy one again!

Reliability and quality of the Hemingway products are five star. They are built to last and are a lot of fun easy to assemble. They are a comfortable ride. They’re worth the money. I’ve had a step through fat tire cruiser for three years and decided to get the big dog because I’m in my 60s and I’m a shorter person And I feel more comfortable with this new big dog as I am aging but they are great quality products. I’ve never had any issues with the fat tire cruiser. I had for three years over 2500 miles on that one and hoping to get more miles from the the big dog .

I finally had a chance to try this bike out for the day and it was excellent. It assembled fairly easily and handles great. The battery duration was quite impressive. Just be aware this is a beefy bike.
Attempting assembly but encountering numerous problems. No customer support phone number included in directions. Found a phone # on internet but noone answers the phone. Manual says 20 minutes to assemble but it has been 4 hours now and I have'nt even got the front wheel on yet. I do not recommend assembling yourself.
Delivery in April 2024. Very easy to assemble. I ride the bike most days, longest ride on one charge 90 miles. Yes, 90 miles (165 lbs) I wanted to see what the maximum mileage I could get from the battery. Easy, slow cruising with some hills. Others rides of 50 miles faster and more hills shows 1/2 battery usage, however, the battery indicator will drop off faster as it is drained. The bike handles so well it is a pleasure to ride. I added an adjustable handlebar stem in order to reduce stress on arms and hands. The tires are quiet and are wearing well and give a comfortable ride. The motor is relatively quiet as well. The power and the torque of the motor make any hill an easy effort. You will be surprised at the motor torque and climbing ability. The brakes are excellent and instill confidence. I use the 0-9 range pelal assist and adjusted each of the 9 settings so that there is minimum (5) digits between them for a smooth transition when moving from one to another without any sudden jumps from the motor. I chose the cadence sensor and love the ability to get just the amount of exercise I want without any more strain than I like. Great bike in every way.
If you don't care how the components work or adjusting them then this might be your bike but, I wud consider avoiding Himiway based on their non-existant customer service.
Two years old, over 1500 miles and no problems. Heavy if using on tight mountain bike trails but amazing for everything else. Mid drive will pull me up a 45 degree grade.
We’ve owned two electric bikes but nothing like these..".. we do a lot of riding hills citywide and off roading. We purchase two of these from a recommendation from a friend. On an average of 30 miles per ride, we have yet to lose more than 1 bar of battery life. From the options and being comfortable these bikes are unmatched having adjustable suspension to a programmable screen…. We would buy these again and again
The important and expensive Li+ battery could be a dangerous fire hazard, however this component is made by Samsung or LG in South Korea.I'm generally quite pleased with it.
Ordered this bike on Thursday got it on Monday. Came packed awesome no damage. Put the front tire and light on. This is my 2nd E-bike first step through one. It is awesome. Taking it out first real ride tomorrow. Ride it around neighborhood today it’s was comfortable. I had ordered another one and canceled it cause they kept pushing back the shipping date very glad I did cancel it and got the Himiway Zebra.

My bike lasted three day and 9 miles before the motor went. Error code 24. Contacted the company immediately. They would do nothing but send endless emails promising to send a new motor which they never did. It’s been a year now, I give up! Chinese junk!!
I ride to & from work 6 miles a day with plenty of hills,, & with pedal assist,, I’m very happy with battery charge range 😊👍👍👍
